I believe in protecting every American's right to retire with dignity. I will fight every effort to cut, privatize, or weaken Social Security, including attempts to raise the retirement age, diminish benefits by cutting cost-of-living adjustments, or reducing earned benefits. 

I will push for more investment in early childhood prgrams like Early Head Start that provides every family in America with access to high-quality pre-school programs. We support efforts to raise wages for childcare workers, and to ensure that early childhood educators are experienced and highly qualified.

I will fight for more educational benefits and job training, end chronic homlessness and combat suicide, protect and preserve the post-9/11 G.I. bill for future generations. I will also ensure that reservists and gaurd members are treated with the dignity and honor that they are due when it comes to employment, health, education benefits, deployment and reinterration.
